    Mv glen sannox.

I had thought that I had taken a photograph of the Glen Sannox as the Talisman left Fairlie as a young(ish) boy in the 1960s to add to the Talisman thread.

Now that I have found the item I find that on that day the roster was taken by the Maid of Cumbrae. It is not much of a ship photograph taken with my Brownie 44a but I do find it interesting as a social document showing what passengers wore to go for a wee sail in the early 1960s.

Just out of curiosity can any one tell me what I should be doing on my computer - I have found before difficulties in getting upper case to work with thread headers, this time I used the capitals lock and I still only ended up with the "M" in upper case?

    Help would be appreciated.

Not sure what is going wrong. i started a few threads in the last couple of days and it seemed OK (though maybe I had to go back and capitalise letters thinking I had not done it properly)

The photo has a great texture and feel to it - and it looks just like the promotional photos of the time. Different than today's digital photos - and all the better for it.

Getting that from a box brownie seems to be a bit of wizardry

Thanks Gordon, just although I know I am illiterate I am not setting out to prove it to every one on the Forum.
