With there being some suggestion on here that they were not working on the engines, here is today's post (which also has pictures not attached here) from the project :

This weekend, work continued on our Starboard main engine as the head was removed from cylinder no. 8 along with the crank case doors removed all for inspection and gasket replacement. We will shortly be removing the blowers from both engines for overhaul, beginning the process of a maintenence cycle for both.

This ensures both engines begin their time after lying dormant at equal levels and then can be monitored and run and maintained as equal as possible.

    Exciting times for our engineers!

There could now be two vessels sailing between Liverpool, Llandudno and Anglesey

A team transforming an abandoned ship into a working cruiser to sail between Liverpool and North Wales are also on the verge of buying a second boat for the route. https://www.dailypost.co.uk/business...-sail-14330118

Re: This Liverpool 'ghost ship' could launch daily sailings to Llandudno by next spring

Nice report there from the Daily Post - not so much about the second ship but the photos and video of Endeavour - although I would have much preferred a decent commentary on the video as opposed to the awful music.

The second ship they are intending to buy is in Europe and "currently operational" according to an answer to a question posed in response to this

Things were moving along last weekend ......

A busy weekend in the engine room, as engineers and apprentices began taking up the floor plates to begin cleaning out and repainting the bilges. They even got so excited that they experimented with some polish on the main engines.

    Dear Webmaster

Any chance this thread could be re-titled please - suggest ENDEAVOUR PROJECT

The current title was improbable 12 months ago - "next Spring" then was journalistic optimism and the timing dis-owned, yet 12 months later it is clear this ship will probably never operate such a service - even if a different one might, but that won't be "this Spring" either. ENDEAVOUR PROJECT

    They are back posting again

Still looking out for volunteers, but post ....."We have volunteers from Kent, Suffolk, Cheshire, Wales, Oxfordshire, Yorkshire & lots of local Merseyside people all joining forces and having a great time".

It appears that they can be accommodated aboard overnight

The group seem to have obtained the ex Thames tug Swiftstone and have brought her from Queenborough up to Liverpool

They appear to have turned her around - with her own engines on and with help from their new tug

The painted side of the ship looks very smart
