That'll be a fun shuttle on Waverley; they'll need a team of tugs to cant at either end! ;)

good old fashioned canting -ropes only -no tugs required --seems to have disappeared At pacific science quay Waverley did initially use ropes to

cant round into the basin --a fine spectacle and sound worth at least £1 on the fare but now uses tugs

Is it not because the quayside has deteriorated and cannot be trusted to bear the load ?

Remember, the quay wall and riverside walkway opposite fell into the river of its own volition a couple of months ago !

Right near AQ as well !

More cost associated with sailing from Glasgow ................. less reason to do so ...............Saturdays excepted (possibly)

Doubt a shuttle would be profitable. Maybe a few lucrative private hires during the games?
